The Role

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to produce scalable software solutions for our clients and exciting internal projects. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility.

Requirements

What you have

• 5+ years of experience of web and application development experience with at least 3+ years working in a development team
• Demonstrated excellence in front and backend development using languages and frameworks such as React, TypeScript, Node, Next.js and other technologies
• Worked with popular CMS platforms such as WordPress, Sanity, Contentful, Shopify and more
• Solid understanding of test-driven development, hosting and domain management.
• Experience with cloud systems such as AWS and Terraform (bonus!)
• Have a strong understanding of architectural design patterns and be able to articulate the pros and cons between architectural choices
• Great time management skills with excellent written and verbal communication
• A full understanding of end-to-end product & feature delivery and managing multiple stakeholders (merchants, 3rd party developers, designers)
• Fast-paced agency experience is highly desirable
• A passion for software development and insatiable hunger for learning new skills

What you’ll do

• Work closely with our developers to anticipate and resolve day to day issues
• Using microservices, API design and implementation and web development using UI design patterns
• Identifying templates, starter-kits, shared libraries or approaches for delivering efficiencies and improving quality
• Contribute to ongoing process and tool improvements to maintain our internal integrations and core services
• Understanding the business cases, function and nonfunctional requirements supported by your feature(s) and solution(s)
• Perform code reviews of peer code contributions and provide clear and meaningful feedback
• Mentor junior members of the team
• Apply your advanced problem-solving skills to solve interesting customer issues
• Working with non-technical stakeholders to understand overall project requirements
• Assist the commercial team with project estimation and proposals

Nice to have

• Experience building or using web animation libraries
• Experience with mobile development using React Native
• Experience with Terraform
