Recruitment Consultant – Labour Hire

Recruitment 24/7 has an opportunity for an outgoing and motivated Recruitment Consultant to join our Ipswich based team. This is a permanent position working 38 hours a week, Monday to Friday, with some after-hours work as required.

The ideal candidate would have experience in recruitment and labour hire; however, experience is not essential as full training will be provided. What is essential is a strong work ethic, the ability to follow directions, and a confidence dealing with people from all walks of life.

A friendly and outgoing disposition, whilst satisfying the demands of an energetic and fast-paced office environment

Sourcing, screening, interviewing, and registering candidates (training will be provided in this area and is an important aspect of this role. This can be time consuming and is primarily phone based, so you must not be reluctant to speak over the phone.)

Management and booking of candidate interviews and work placements (after hours work may be required depending on client demand)

Ability to form and maintain client relationships from an existing client database (via phone and in person)

Ability to work autonomously when required

Attention to detail with accurate maintenance of client / candidate management database

Intermediate computer skills, including use of Outlook, Word, and Excel.

A commitment to long term employment

This is a diverse position which requires you to be organized, confident and well-presented. A driver’s license is required to perform the duties of this role.
