In this newly created role, the PR & Event Manager will lead a team of accomplished and agile brand, digital and customer experience professionals, and will inspire the creation and management of innovative PR, media, and social branding strategies. With the purpose of driving brand growth, community connections and positive brand positioning, this role requires a passionate and experienced PR and communications leader, who has their finger on the pulse when it comes to fashion, journalism, and everything pop culture.

Reporting to the Brand Director, and working in close collaboration with various other functions, the PR & Event Manager will focus on social engagement, media reach and brand partnerships, with key responsibilities including:

The ideation and directing of a strategic brand communication plan

Preparing and editing both internal and external publications, inclusive of copywriting for retail, web and general marketing collateral

Media monitoring including delivering against ROI’s & KPI’s

Actively researching and connecting the brand to relevant partnerships

Offering recommendations and strategic brand awareness/placement support to internal social media and influencer marketing personnel, including the identification of new collaborators and brand partners

End-to-end event management/direction, including media, digital and influencer events, including venue liaison.

The reporting and analysis of social, PR and event performance, including presenting back to senior stakeholders

In order to be considered for this role, candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience across communications, media and PR, and be able to demonstrate success in managing brand relevant PR & media campaigns. In addition to this, the PR & Event Manager will have had exposure to social media throughout their previous roles, and will be an accomplished people manager.
