ING Australia are looking for an IT Risk Customer Journey Expert to join our team, if this role sounds like a great fit for you, please read on!

The IT Risk Customer Journey Expert requires a strong understanding of financial industry risk management frameworks and experience working in an operational environment. You will have strong interpersonal skills with effective verbal and written communication skills, as well as a can do mind set. In addition to this, you will have strong attention to detail, be a problem solver and proactive in providing solutions where necessary.

In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our IT Risk compliance position to keep the bank safe. This includes coordinating control execution and audits, communicating with Risk, IT and business teams, monitoring metrics and remediate weaknesses where appropriate.

Responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Analyse Risk and Compliance data to enhance our risk score
• Collaborate with stakeholders to provide data, reporting and analytics
• Validate and clarify customer requirements and drive improvement where required
• Provide risk guidance, technical assistance as well as training
• Create and update guides and documentation

You will have:

• Demonstrated experience with financial industry risk management frameworks 
• Experience in one or more technical IT disciplines such as support, development, testing, security or technical analysis
• Assessing, measuring and monitoring IT risk to ensure processes and key controls operate as intended
• Experience in an operational environment
• Working experience dealing with Line 1 technical risk
• Experience communicating effectively at all levels including with senior stakeholders
• Facilitating internal and external audits
