We are looking for a passionate part time (4 days a week) Medical Secretary. You will be working with our dedicated multidisciplinary team to provide a high level of administrative support to our patients & practice.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide timely, accurate and professional secretarial support by effective management of diaries, incoming correspondence, referrals, calls and accurate and timely completion of required correspondence and tasks
  • Provide exceptional patient care ensuring all direct inquiries from the patients are handled appropriately, sensitively and in a timely and professional manner and that all billings are completed accurately and on time
  • Liaise with patients and book any specialized procedures, including arranging anaesthetists, manage and confirm bookings
  • Assist in maintaining the facilities of the Practice to an exceptional standard in order to project a friendly and professional image to patients, professional partners and stakeholders and promote and showcase the GenesisCare brand at all time.

Who you are:

  • Previous cardiology or medical secretary experience is highly regarded
  • Demonstrated understanding of and an ability to provide friendly and efficient patient care and customer service
  • Excellent computer skills with the ability to quickly learn the relevant medical software platform
  • Exceptional organisation and communication skills with the ability to efficiently work as an effective member of an administrative support team
  • Exceptional phone manner and the demonstrated ability to seamlessly handle competing inquiries.

Some travel may be required between the GenesisCare sites and there may be a requirement to provide short-term administrative relief in other Practices from time to time where an emergency arises.
