About the Role

:

Due to the ongoing growth of the JBS Australia business, our Internal Audit department is currently seeking an experienced Senior IT Internal Auditor to join our team in a permanent full-time capacity. Based at our Corporate head office in Wacol, and reporting directly to the Internal Audit Manager, this role will lead and deliver the IT control audits as well as champion the IT SOX compliance with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Responsible for the verification and audit of Information Technology General Controls (ITGCs) and application controls
  • Contribute (and eventually lead) the success of the IT SOX programs at JBS Australia
  • Work closely with the IT department on audit findings and provide independent advice of the remediation actions
  • Provide guidance to the IT Department as it relates to control interpretation, applicability and practice
  • Participate in the development and performance of the IT audit plan
  • Work as an integrated team with the other Audit team members on joint financial/IT reviews
  • Take ownership and accountability for the IT General Controls and Application Controls Testing
  • Assist in the development of a combined assurance approach and work with, and co-ordinate work with external audit
  • About You:

  • Tertiary qualifications in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems or Finance and Accounting
  • Recognized accounting / auditing / information system certification preferred (e.g. CISA, CIA, CISSP)
  • Strong understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 (Narratives, Risk Matrix, Control Templates, Testing, Certifications, Remediation)
  • Previous experience in a similar IT audit or IT governance role
  • Previous experience in a Big 4 external audit or internal IT audit service desirable
  • Knowledge of multiple database and operating systems (e.g. Windows, Linux, etc.)
  • Knowledge of SAP or Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Excellent time management skills and deadlines driven
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with both a technical and non-technical audience
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team in a cohesive and collaborative manner
  • Strong report writing and presentation skill
  • Ability to adapt to change and new challenges
