About the opportunity

:

Our Restructuring and & Recovery team are looking for Senior Analyst through to Assistant Manager level with experience in personal insolvency to join our Perth office and are flexible with either full or part time work.

You will have the opportunity to work across a broad range of personal insolvency matters, including bankruptcy, personal insolvency agreements, compositions and consulting engagements. While you will predominantly be working in personal insolvency, you may also have the opportunity to assist on corporate insolvency appointments.

Key responsibilities:

Being the main point of contact for assigned personal insolvency appointments;

Verbal and written communication with debtors, creditors, AFSA and other stakeholders;

Preparation of reports to creditors;

Identifying, assessing and realising vested assets, including liaising with co-owners, agents and auctioneers;

Conducting income assessments, issuing notice to debtors and monitoring income contributions;

Conducting investigations into the affairs of debtors;

Assisting with litigation matters, including identifying claims, preparing letters of demand and liaising with lawyers;

Preparing dividends to creditors, including issuing notices to creditors, adjudicating claims and distribution of available funds;

Preparation of Annual Administration Returns and payment of realisations and interest charges;

Delegating tasks to analysts and graduates and providing training as and when required;

Reviewing receipt & payment authorities, day one investigation letters and statutory lodgements.

About you:

2+ years’ experience in a similar role;

Degree qualified; and

Excellent communication skills.
