The Point Revolving has been the backdrop of memorable dining moments as a Tasmanian institution for decades, situated on the absolute waterfront of Hobart’s beautiful Derwent River. Our French-inspired menu weaves some of Tasmania’s finest ingredients into a dining experience punctuated with theatre and flair.

The Point Revolving is open evenings, Tuesday through Saturday and is closed Sunday and Monday.

About you

As Supervisor, you will take a hands-on approach in supporting the Restaurant Manager and work with the team to ensure each guest receives a tailored and memorable experience.

To be successful in this role, you will have exceptional food and beverage skills which are complemented by your initiative, organisational ability and great interpersonal skills. Your understanding and practice of team leadership and team building will be underpinned by your ability to provide support, training and guidance to staff.

We want to hear from you, if you have:

A passion for providing exceptional customer experiences,

Exceptional leadership skills with supervisory experience in a similar setting,

Strong experience as a station waiter and advanced beverage knowledge (table side/ gueridon cooking experience not essential but highly regarded), and

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships.
