SeaLink WA (SeaLink Rottnest, Captain Cook Cruises & Bells Functions) is Perth’s premier cruise company with a fleet of river and Rottnest luxurious vessels, a boutique function space, and a strong reputation within the tourism industry. Located within the newly established Elizabeth Quay precinct, we offer a wide range of cruise options from Perth to our port city of Fremantle, upstream towards the magnificent Swan Valley wine region and across to Rottnest Island with our new ferry operation.

 

We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team, responsible for SeaLink WA’s digital marketing channels and initiatives, including developing, implementing, and monitoring the SeaLink WA’s websites, online content, social network presence, search engine and social media marketing, and electronic direct marketing campaigns.

 

About You

  • Excellent understanding and practical experience in the application of contemporary digital and social marketing channels and techniques
  • Excellent written communication skills with a flair for creative digital and social copywriting
  • Creation, coordination and publication of content including blogs, imagery, video and multimedia
  • Ability to analyse and report on the performance of websites, social media and digital marketing channels and campaigns using Google Analytics, Facebook and other data sources
  • Practical knowledge of search engine marketing and search engine optimisation techniques
  • Ability to work independently and contribute as part of a team
  • Commitment to producing accurate and high-quality work under tight deadlines
  • High level of computer literacy

About the Role

  • Maintaining effectiveness of our digital marketing channels, campaigns and content including websites, social and EDM channels aligned to contemporary digital marketing trends
  • Develop effective digital and social marketing plans and campaigns to meet sales and marketing targets
  • Create engaging customer-focused content (written, imagery, video, SEO) around our products and services for websites, blogs, social media and other online platforms
  • Assist in the monitoring and management of our social media and customer review platforms including customer responses, e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Trip Advisor, Google, Review Pro etc
  • Monitor web traffic, interpret website analytics, audience data, conversions and goals, e-commerce values and reporting against key performance indicators and recommendations for improvement
  • Provide monthly reporting on success of digital marketing activities, including results of EDM campaigns, data from Google Analytics and business performance reporting tools
  • Work closely with our IT and National Marketing teams, and external service providers to facilitate the continuous improvement of our digital marketing channels and activities

 

Skills and Experience Required

  • Demonstrable experience using:
    • Content Management Systems (e.g., Craft),
    • Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint
    • Working with Marketing Automation / Email Marketing Solutions – e.g. Salesforce, Vero, Campaign Monitor etc
    • Survey platforms (e.g. Survey Monkey, Review Pro)
    • Google Analytics and other reporting tools
    • Adobe Suite 
  • Experience working with various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Trip Advisor and Pinterest.
  • Digital sales and marketing (preferably in a travel and tourism environment)
