Senior Systems Engineer – Defence Hf Communications Jp9101 Program

Your responsibilities will include

:

Analysis and undertake development of internal and external interface requirements

Analysis and undertake development of system functional requirements from FPS and Commonwealth needs

Contribute to Major System Reviews relevant to JP9101

Contribute to workshops and working groups with the customer

Contribute to system and sub-system level requirements baseline, including traceability

About you:

You will be an experienced Systems Engineer with solid requirements and documentation experience, you will have excellent communication skills and enjoy completing tasks to fruition and contributing to the wider team. Ideally you will also hold tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution and/or extensive relevant professional experience.

The following experience is required to be successful in this role:

Substantial experience with Requirements Elicitation and Requirements Analysis 

Experience with the systems engineering lifecycle and methodologies 

Ability to manage requirements baselines for ASDEFCON complex programs

Substantial experience in requirements development, decomposition and tracing to system models

As well as the above any background in the usage of the DOORS or DOORS Nextgen requirements management tool and strong Understanding of Model Based Systems Development (MBSD) and Model Based Engineering (MBE) principles would be advantageous.

Special Requirements:

Applicants are required to be Australian Citizens and either hold or be eligible for a current NV1 Defence Security Clearance.
