The Role
We are looking for passionate and highly motivated candidates who will leverage the opportunities that these roles will provide to grow, develop their skills and further ASD’s missions. ASD will support your professional and technical development through a generous training and mentoring framework both on and off the job.

On a daily basis, this role in TA-MEG will see you doing: 

• Delivering bespoke technical security guidance to government and industry partners, designed to prevent adversaries from using their tradecraft.
• Performing detailed technical assessments, threat modelling and vulnerability management across a large selection of varied and state-of-the-art security enforcing technologies.
• Assessing evolving technologies and test methodologies for future implementations.
• Developing security best practice guidance, threat models, risks assessments and educational campaigns.
• Training and mentoring junior staff.

About our Team
Mitigation Evaluation Governance (MEG) engages with a diverse range of projects, system owners across the Whole of Australian Government, the National Intelligence Community, the Australian Defence Force and industry partners to assess cyber security risks and provide novel mitigation advice.

As a member of MEG you would perform bespoke technical assessments, threat modellings and vulnerability management across a large selection of varied and state-of-the-art security enforcing technologies. You will be provided with on-the-job training and access to relevant industry courses and resources to grow your skillset.
