Senior Network Engineer

We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Enterprise Network Designer to join our growing Enterprise Network Development Team, to assist in creating and maintaining a sustainable and expandable Network Strategy for the business. The team is responsible for implementing the network infrastructure for the changing business needs.

What you’ll do:

• Be central to the successful delivery of projects across the Sky group!

• Collate, analyse, and confirm business technical requirements.

• Produce low level network designs detailing the physical and logical solution.

• Provide a handover to the Network Implementation team who can deploy your design to the high standards Sky expects!

• Ensure all network infrastructure is managed and supervised as per standard.

• Work closely with all other technical teams to deliver best of class solutions.

• Run and maintain Sky network standards and policies.

• Deliver multiple projects at the same time and be a driven individual who has a desire to deliver.

• Ownership of HLD/LLD blueprints and documents.

What you’ll bring:

• Previous experience of network infrastructure implementation for large data centres and 4000+ user campus LANs.

• Experience with high end Cisco platforms such as Cisco Nexus, Catalyst 9xxx series. F5 load balancers & Palo Alto and Fortinet Firewalls.

• SDN including Cisco ACI and EVPN.

• Public cloud connectivity, GCP, AWS, Azure.

• Network Function Virtualisation.

• Network automation/Basic programming & scripting ability.

• Cisco Qualified Specialist in one or more of the following: Routing & Switching, Wireless LAN, Security or Optimisation.

• Strong problem analysis.
