Senior Account Manager – Commercial Division | WA – Perth

The Commercial division is Allianz Australia’s largest distribution channel whose customers include local, national and international brokers, and buying groups throughout Australia and New Zealand. We’re seeking a Senior Account Manager to report to the State Distribution Manager and help develop best in market relationships with an allocated panel of brokers.
It will be your responsibility to:
Develop collaborative relationships with your broker panel to ensure understanding of their present and future needs, and proposing products, services and upgrades to grow revenue. Display market leading sales behaviours demonstrated by usage of CRM to monitor develop relationships, single sales, scheme and whole of account opportunities. Develop and fulfil sales plan to achieve financial metrics, retention, target conversions and strike rates against developed and well managed plans. Help implement strategic projects to enhance sales capability, ensuring activities are following divisional and organisation focus areas and targeted outcomes. Act as a point of escalation for Broker requests, issues or complaints, evaluating available information and facilitating effective resolution. Participate in team meetings/activities and positively contribute to a high-performance culture. Important to your success:
Experience in commercial general insurance would be required; applicants from an underwriting or broking background would be considered. Strategic sales ability including business planning, negotiation skills and the ability to influence and persuade. Demonstrated enthusiasm and ability to optimise business value to customers by delivering high quality services and positive customer experiences to sustain and enhance the customer base. Ability to identify potential issues, evaluate information, exercise judgement and create customer-focused solutions. Able to plan and prioritise, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands. Able to communicate and present with impact and influence. What’s on offer:
