Jandakot Primary School (PS) is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Network Support Officer to join our friendly and professional team.
This innovative role is focused on ensuring the effective and efficient operations of the school’s network to support our educational goals and administrative functions. We are looking for a team player with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining the school’s Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) network and systems and developing and maintaining an ICT replacement program. They will also provide advice and training on technical issues associated with ICT, provide input on system enhancements in line with the Department of Education (DoE) requirements and policies and liaise with DoE ICT department when required.
As the successful applicant, you will ideally have the ability to problem solve and provide innovative solutions for diverse scenarios. Ideally you will be well organised and experienced in reviewing and improving ICT infrastructure and resources. This is not just a help desk role – we are seeking a proactive individual who will facilitate network, systems and device management and improvement. You will ideally be able to articulate school ICT needs to the finance and other committees and assist with developing and implementing plans for objectives and goals to be realised.

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.
