This opportunity

The Enterprise Account Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of existing sales and customer relationships within an allocated portfolio. The successful candidate should be a highly experienced sales professional with a solutions focused mindset, able to utilise TPG’s product and services to identify customer needs. The Enterprise Account Manager should be ale to creatively position TPG Telecom as an innovative, flexible and responsive service provider to customers and proactively identify and create growth opportunities within the allocated customer base.

Proven as a cultivator and ‘closer’ of sales opportunities at the Enterprise organisation the Enterprise Account Manager should possess a strong understanding of how to penetrate Enterprise level accounts up to and including. 

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for the ongoing development and deepening of existing sales and customer relationships within an allocated portfolio
  • Review current state and develop/continually improve sales plans for each of TPG Telecom’s products and services, for each customer in the allocated portfolio
  • Successfully maintain the value of the existing portfolio through effective customer lifecycle management and completion of re-sign activities that maximise commercial outcomes
  • Achieve key monthly, quarterly and annual growth/x-sell sales objectives, building on effective base management to consistently grow (value and product breadth) the allocated portfolio
  • Maintain up to date and accurate customer contact, pipeline and any other required information in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, i.e. Salesforce
  • Represent TPG Telecom at industry meetings and trade association events whenever requested, continually promoting the company and its services
  • Keep track on local competitor activity, reporting any significant developments to the sales team and TPG Telecom executives (including Sales, Product, Service etc).
  • Co-operate with cross functional leaders within TPG Telecom to increase the value the company delivers to all its Customers
  • Knowledge and experience

  •  Exceptional knowledge and understanding of sales strategies within the IT and Telecommunications sector
  • Strong knowledge of all political and economic influences that could affect TPGs businesses and the broader marketplace
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in a comparable position, including sales engagement up to and at C level
  • Management of high value customer portfolios in the same or a similar market section, including the management of multi-million dollar portfolios, multi-million dollar retention and multi-million dollar growth opportunities
  • Proven track record of achievement of sales targets, including selling in at C level, within a closely comparable industry
  • A strong understanding of other industry specialist and/or proprietary TPG software packages is desirable
  • Tertiary qualification preferred yet not essential
  • Other relevant professional/industry related qualifications are highly desirable, e.g. Cisco.
  • Sound ability in the use of Office 365 products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and sales specific software, i.e. Salesforce
