Marketing & Engagement Officer

Position: Marketing and engagement officer
Age: 18+ years

Minimum Qualifications: Diploma in marketing/graphic design or similar.

Estimated time commitment: 12-24 hours per month, minimum – varies on season and projects.

Duties (What is involved):
• Develop and implement marketing and media material for various channels (online, print, social, etc) for events, products and athletes.
• Assist with the development of marketing and media strategy for long term development.
• Participate in the development of promotional material and strategies to support the overall strategy.
• Develop and implement engagement strategies to support the growth of BASED wrestling and related projects.

Exclusions (What the job is not):
• Daily business tasks and activities.
• Coaching and officiating roles.

What does a day look like?
• Taking photos or short videos for social media or material.
• Connecting with sponsors/potential sponsor.
• Engaging with potential new members/wrestlers and families.
• Developing posters, flyers, material for projects.
• Advising staff and athletes on media ideas and campaign content.
• Developing suit or uniform ideas for further development.
• Posting on social media, sending media releases and/or advertising proofs.

Remuneration ($AUD) $25-30 (+ super) relative to experience and as agreed. Commission bonus as agreed.
