Job Description
Left of Centre is an Neurodiverse Affirmative organisation that provides therapy and support services to NDIS and non-NDIS clients. Our purpose is to provide allied health, and multidisciplinary services to Neurodivergent clients. The organisation prides itself on its compassion and kind treatment towards clients, with many of the team identifying as Neurodivergent.
The client base at Left of Centre consists mainly of autistic children, but also includes clients across the lifespan and with various developmental and mental health conditions. Knowledge and lived experience, either personal or with family members, will be highly valued.
The Role:
We are looking for Support Workers on a casual or part time basis to provide support for clients based around the Caboolture area. Due to the growth of the company, we are looking for experienced support workers that are able to work autonomously. Support workers should be passionate about making a difference in the neurodiverse community. This position will offer a variety of hours to the successful applicants.
We ask our Support workers to have:
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) ie. Blue Card/Yellow Card
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of Neurodiversity
• Reliable vehicle, full drivers’ licence, and the ability to transport clients if needed
• Reliable and enthusiastic
