OOSH EDUCATOR CASUAL – LANE COVE
No previous experience necessary, all training provided on the job.

At Alphabeta OOSH we provide high quality Before & After School Care and Vacation Care, for school age children in the surrounding community. We are passionate about the wellbeing of all children in our care and aim to provide a home away from home environment that is warm, safe and caring for the children, staff and families of our centres.
About the role
OOSH EDUCATOR CASUAL
Varying shifts morning 7am-9am and afternoon 2pm-6pm
Duties as an OOSH Educator will include but are not limited to:
• Supervision of children
• Collaborative planning and programming
• Liaising with families
• Participation in accreditation activities and centre development
• Maintenance of centre environment and records
Essential Criteria:
Skills in building strong relationships with children, parents and the surrounding community.
Ability to assist in planning and implementing programs and routines.
An understanding of age appropriate and educational learning activities for primary aged children
Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain
Desirable but not essential Criteria:
Certificate 3 in Children's Services, Certificate 4 in OOSH
Previous experience working in Before and After School Care
Knowledge of School Age Framework: My Time Our Place
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis
All Educator staff are employed on a term time basis and given the option to work during vacation care.
