Job Description

Key duties of this role include, but are not limited to the following:
A friendly, customer focused attitude with the strive to provide total customer satisfaction.
A high level of food, wine, cocktail & general beverage knowledge.
Initiative to ensure that interactions with our customers are positive and efficient.
Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certification.
Previous a la carte experience is desirable.
Confidence in liaising with various internal and external clients.
Impeccable grooming and personal presentation.
Flexibility regarding your work availability is essential, as the Lounge operates 7 days a week, including public holidays.
Ensure all beverage are made to Lounge standards and training standards provided by relevant Beverage supplier.
Make and serve coffee and drinks according to Lounge standards
Ensure all equipment associated with the Coffee Machine is kept, neat tidy and orderly.
Ensure accuracy whilst ordering and delivering food and beverage orders Use Micros to place orders
Ensure any maintenance issues with the coffee machine are reported to ensure appropriate action can be taken to repair the machine.
Demonstrate versatility in responding to guest requests and situations.
Liaise with the Kitchen on special requests or delayed meals
Clear and reset tables as well as ensuring service areas are clean and tidy.
Maintain standards of hygiene for food handling and presentation.
Promote a safe workplace by recognising hazards and promoting general OHS practises
As a successful candidate you will have:
A friendly, customer focused attitude with the strive to provide Total Customer Satisfaction.
Minimum 1 year experience.
Initiative to ensure that interactions with our customers are positive and efficient.
Ability to work under a pressure.
Your Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.
Previous customer service or hospitality experience.
Confidence in liaising with various internal and external clients.
A high standard of grooming and presentation
The ability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings, late evenings and on weekends.
