It Support Technician - Sunshine Coast - Queensland

An exciting opportunity exists for an IT Support Technician on the Sunshine Coast.

This is an entry level position and we encourage students currently studying or recently completed IT studies to apply.

Our company provides ICT support to a diverse range of clients including local businesses, schools and non-profit organisations.

Your duties within the role will include but are not limited to:

Installation, support, and repair of Windows and Macintosh OSX computers and IOS devices
Email and network setup and support for new and existing users
Network configuration, repair and support of wireless and cabled devices
Logging and responding to support requests and calls from clients
The successful applicant must have:

A passion for Technology
The ability to problem solve independently
A tertiary education or be studying toward a tertiary qualification
Experience with both Macintosh OS and Windows operating systems
An interest in and an understanding of IT Systems and Networks
Be able to diagnose common problems with personal computers, Macintosh, IOS, Windows, and peripherals such as projectors and printers
Strong customer service skills
Be organised and able to follow procedures
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Professional presentation

You will also need to be personable, motivated, have great people skills and a can-do attitude, be self-directed and able to complete tasks efficiently in a timely manner.

As the position will involve working onsite at locations where vaccination is mandatory, (ie schools and medical), proof of vaccination will be required in accordance with the government mandates.

Initially the position is Casual, leading to Full-Time employment for the right person
