Job Description
Sparrow Early Learning Mandurah is currently seeking a second Early Childhood Teacher to join our dynamic team who is excited about our vision and values and dedicated to ensuring children are given the opportunity to become the best that they can be. Sparrow Early Learning are influenced by the Reggio Emilia Philosophy, we advocate for the use of loose parts as an approach to developing play opportunities.
This role will be working collaboratively with fellow ECT and Educators to deliver a play-based learning program. You will be supported by a Service Manager and an experienced Management Team. You will be given every opportunity to learn and grow, facilitating the most professional, caring and positive experience for all children, families and peers.

The Unique Early Childhood Teacher We Seek
You will hold a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Studies) or equivalent with experience in the Early Childhood Sector. Your passion for early childhood education will be matched by your reflective nature, analytical skills, sense of curiosity and fun. We place great importance on the role of our Early Childhood Teachers and you will be a key driver in establishing constructive and robust relationships with our lovely families, your peers and the wider community.

As the ideal candidate, you will present with a strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS and have had several years' experience within the Early Childhood Sector. You will also be confident when communicating with all levels of management.
The ideal candidate for this position will hold:
Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Studies) or a Recognised ACECQA Early Childhood Teacher qualification
Working with Children Check
First Aid and CPR certificates
Asthma and Anaphylaxis
Thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS)
Experience in LDC will be well regarded

This position is permanent Full-time for the successful candidate. You will have the availability to work on rotating shifts starting at 6.30am with the last shift of the day finishing at 6.30pm. Although our Kindergarten Teachers have a reasonable set shift you may be required from time to time to help with opening or closing shifts.
