Job Description

Eligibility: Open to Everyone DutiesThe Manager, Regional South (Delivery Zone 2) is accountable to theDirector, Road Network Maintenance for providing high levelleadership and direction for the effective maintenance of thedepartment’s road and road-related assets in an area thatspans from Port Wakefield to Renmark and south to Mount Gambier butexcluding Metropolitan Adelaide. The role will oversee a team ofprofessionals and technical experts to: Deliver road maintenance and minor capital works through existing long term maintenance contract arrangements Lead a local interface with customers, communities and stakeholders Understand asset performance and future investment needs Develop minor capital and recurrent works programs Provide network intelligence and expert advice to internal and external stakeholders RequirementsTertiary qualification in abusiness or other relevant discipline will be highly regarded. SpecialConditionsThis role is classified as a position oftrust and will be subjected to a satisfactory criminal historyrecord check in line with departmental policies andprocedures.Some out of hours and weekend work, along with someintra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays may berequired. RemunerationMAS3 – $120,467 perannum
