Your key accountabilities will include:Coordinate the provision of organisational and administrative services for the Far North District, including word processing, diary maintenance, correspondence indexing and application of human resource management policies and practices. Identify, analyse and implement systems and procedures relevant to administrative processes within the Far North District.Coordinate leave and the performance of higher duties for all administrative officers within the Far North District in consultation with District Support Officer, and where applicable, conduct rostering activities and contribute to the coordination of special services.Undertake audit and risk management activities and provide advice to senior management regarding leave management and the incidence of lost time, budgetary returns and overtime, weekend units and travelling allowance budgets.Maintain and manage stores and equipment.Prepare correspondence on behalf of senior police.Supervise, train and develop subordinate staff.Maintain confidentiality of files and information.Applications to remain current for months Further information We are committed to building inclusive cultures in the Queensland public sector that respect and promote human rights ( ) and diversity ( ).
