The multi-purpose Stadium and the surrounding Stadium Park is open 365 days a year and has been designed with a fans-first focus. The VenuesLive management team is responsible for operating the Stadium and is committed to growth and innovation in the areas of venue management, event delivery and catering services. A unique opportunity awaits an outstanding and experienced Events professional to join the dynamic team at VenuesLive WA who operate the Stadium and surrounding Stadium Park. Reporting to the Events Manager, the Events Coordinator will form an integral part of the Events & Operations department and will play an important role in delivering events staged at Optus Stadium.Your focus will be: Provide assistance and support across all functional areas (internal and external) Assist and support the planning and delivery of both event and non-event day activities at Optus Stadium and the Stadium Park. A client first approach to the management of the operational relationship between the Stadium and it’s Hirers and Operational Partners.To be successful, you will have: Competency in Windows including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Powerdraft and Microsoft OutlookCompetency in Ungerboeck / UBSDiploma or degree qualifications in Event Management (or working towards qualification)A minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar coordination roleThis is a unique event management opportunity for an ambitious event management professional looking for a career directing challenge.
