It Auditor

Due to recent growth within the Internal Audit Team, we are now seeking a highly driven IT Auditor for our Sunshine Coast office! We recognise our people for their contribution to our culture and success.About the roleDue to internal growth and promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for an IT Auditor to join our experienced and passionate Internal Audit team. Reporting directly to the IT Audit Manager the successful applicant will be responsible for completing audits including systems, frameworks, security and data and how these relate to the operational, financial and governance processes within the Youi Group. The role will also involve the delivery of audit outputs including final reports within agreed timescales and in accordance with Internal Audit Standards.A normal day may see you: Analysing and documenting key IT processes in order to establish the scope of the audit and identify key controlsAssessing Risks – identifying weaknesses and recommending improvements through formal reportsPopulating working papers with good quality planning, fieldwork and reporting material on a timely basisLiaising with the IT Audit Manager and other members of the teamIdentify where system/IT issues may impact operations or risk/governance frameworksEngaging and communicating with Executives and department managers, providing audit results whilst ensuring the scale and scope of deliverables are adequately understoodEvaluating and monitoring corrective actions taken to address any control weaknesses identifiedAnalysing the Youi IT environment to help shape the IT Audit Universe which includes all major processes and functionsWorking alongside a talented, highly collaborative and strategically focused team of audit professionals. About YouThe successful candidate is likely to have previously conducted IT audits, within a professional or financial services environment, with a solid technical understanding around all things IT. You must be degree qualified in a relevant discipline and ideally are studying, or considering studying towards a professional membership as either a; Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or another ISACA certification. Experience in CPS234 and ISO27001 will be advantageous. To hit the ground running you will bring with you a strong ability to communicate with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels across the business, delivering difficult news where required and influencing change. Forward-thinking, you will be keen to test the design, implementation and effectiveness of controls and look at ways to improve processes, all the while sharing your learnings with your team.
