Tecside is currently seeking highly motivated Trade Assistant to work with Heavy Vehicles based in Wingfield working with one of South Australia’s leading Road and Civil construction companies.What we offer: Immediate start for right applicantA great working environment and atmosphereA full-time apprentice position may be offered in the future Main Responsibilities/duties will include: Identify any issues and communicate these with your supervisorEnsure all tools and equipment are kept in good working orderAssisting the tradesmen with various tasks as required Requirements: Current Driver’s LicenceMay need to occasionally work weekends/flexible hoursPrevious experience working around heavy duty equipmentBe competent in performing basic maintenance on machinesMechanically minded person that can use hand toolsForklift / High risk work licenses desirableAn understanding of OH&S regulationsBe able to pass a Medical including a Drug & Alcohol testAbility to work well in a fast-paced environmentGood organisation skills to work efficientlyGood attention to detailAbility to work autonomouslyBe physically fit and be able to lift heavy objects
