Don’t get benched, these departments play in very different fields, so be sure to work with your strengths and choose the right team to ‘kick goals’ with.These casual positions offer minimum shifts from 3 hours on major event and game days, so check the ‘whats on’ section on our website to ensure you can service the line up of entertainment coming to Adelaide Oval.About the rolesEvent Day Bar Attendants: We are looking for experienced, speedy, well-organised and reliable event day bar attendants to join us just in time for the 2021 AFL season! Ideal candidates must have the ability and desire to go above & beyond, be able to multi-task, have a positive ‘can do’ attitude and approach and be a team player. In particular, we are seeking those with: Bar experienceBarista experience Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following will be highly regarded: Front of house experience in the hospitality industryExceptional customer serviceFood preparation and hygiene knowledgeBar experienceBarista experiencePOS and EFTPOS experience Event Day Bar & Wait Attendants – Function and Corporate Facilities: Ian McLachlan, William Magarey, Leigh Whicker… do these names ring a bell? Our prestigious function rooms and corporate spaces have a history to be upheld and deserve the finest experience you can deliver. If you are a master of carrying three plates, can set a room to the finest detail, and can use your customer service skills to win over the crowd no matter who the player is, then polish up those boots and join the Corporate/F&E team. In particular, we are seeking those with: High end or corporate clientele exposureTable waiting, bar and barista experienceExceptional customer service Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following will be highly regarded: Front of house experience in the hospitality industryPrevious experience in corporate suite hosting, bar or functions experiencePOS and EFTPOS experience About your ApplicationTo be successful you will have: Availability to work major event events at Adelaide Oval. This requires ‘after hours’ and weekend work.A Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.Strong work ethic and a passion for working in hospitality.Excellent personal presentation and customer service.Ability to maintain high workloads and meet deadlines within specified time frames.The ability to work under pressure in fast paced environments.Fun, can do attitude, coupled with excellent communication and listening skills.Reliable and punctual attendance.Basic Food Hygiene/Food Safety qualifications are preferable for these roles.
