This will involve: Providing technical input on projects including configuring and developing Digital, GIS and Geospatial solutions Developing and providing customised tools, workflow automation, spatial databases, data analytics and web mapping Drive innovation within GHD’s growing Digital business while being an advocate of Location Intelligence Opportunities to positively interact with our valued clients and internal customers Provide direction and coaching to team members through ongoing knowledge sharing Assistance with written reports and technical documentation What you will bring to the team: Degree qualification in Computer Science, Geomatic Engineering or Spatial Sciences A minimum of 2 years’ experience within the Digital, Consulting, Engineering or Government sectors in a similar role An ‘eye for detail’ when managing spatial data and associated outputs and analysis Excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues concisely Well demonstrated planning skills with the ability to work independently and prioritise tasks accordingly Proficient in Esri ArcGIS geospatial / cartographic products and solutions including web GIS and field GIS deployments Industry best practice knowledge and skillsets in data capture, analysis, auto-processing and management Desirable but not essential: demonstrated knowledge and work experience in Environmental, Approvals and Road Planning projects Ability to work in Australia
