Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES: Key Account Management & Servicing: Thorough planning and organisation, manage the performance of a designated sales territory, striving for growth through continuous improvement in sales performance by focusing on key activities and relationships. Service existing accounts as per the service requirements established by management, ensuring all Diversey products and equipment are maintained in safe and practical working order. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment at customers’ premises to keep equipment fully operational. Attend customers’ premises to repair equipment where there is a reported incidence of breakdown. Plan and coordinate installations. Remove equipment from customer’s premises where customers have ceased buying product from Diversey. Complete all necessary documentation as required. Provide technical assistance and advice to customers and Diversey employees. Ensure customers’ receive Safety Data Sheets, Product Information and Risk Assessments (where applicable) wall charts, and conduct and document all formal and on-the-job training sessions as per customer requirements. Train Diversey employees or customers on the use of company products, machinery, work health and safety aspects when required, ensuring complete documentation as required. Sales Reporting: Conduct formal quarterly reviews with appropriate key customer personnel. Plan daily, weekly and annual objectives and activities to maximise customer contact and effectiveness. Continuously update all sales activities (e.g. funnel) using Salesforce or other CRM systems. Provide a monthly update to direct manager on the following: Tracking against KPI’s Plans for coming month/quarter Performance against previous plans Internal Stakeholder Management: Manage effective internal stakeholder relationships and ability to deliver the F& B strategy through matrix reporting structure. Work closely with Engineering and Application Specialists to identify and develop relevant value propositions for customers. Other and/or Site: Ensure compliance to company policy including business ethics policy, Employee Health and Safety policy and guidelines, car policy, travel and expense policy, mobile phone policy etc If driving a company motor vehicle ensure the vehicle is operated and serviced within the company car policy guidelines. Comply with travel and expense policy, policy for use for mobile phones, computers and all other company assets in the possession of the employee.
