Join our national Volunteer Resources team, supporting safe and effective volunteer involvement across one of Australia’s largest volunteer workforces. The Volunteer Resources Advisor role provides direct guidance and coaching to managers in relation to the volunteer involvement lifecycle, risk mitigation, compliance, and resolution of volunteer-related issues. We work across a diverse range of settings including community and social programs, aged care settings, emergency relief operations and church-based activities.This specialist role within the Human Resource department collaborates with HR business partners, advisors and support functions to provide complete, integrated assistance to our managers. This is a part-time role (30 hours per week), allowing you to work flexibly to meet the needs of your customers and your own circumstances. The role involves frequent site visits to metro and regional areas. Key focuses of the role will be: Relationship ManagementDevelop strong collaborative and supportive relationships with managers to increase safe and effective volunteer involvement.Training, Coaching & SupportFacilitate training, coaching and support to managers and area leadership teams.Information ManagementDevelop manager competency in maintaining volunteer information and compliance with reporting requirements. New initiativesSupport the development of new volunteer-involving initiatives and appropriately manage risk.
