Application closing date: Thursday 6 May 2021 at 6pm (in Canberra) Estimated start date: 3-05-2021 Location of work: Australian Capital Territory Length of contract: Through to December 24 2021 Contract extensions: Contract extensions may be considered Security clearance: Must have current baseline clearance Rate: $45 – $55 per hour (inc. super) The Web Services team in the Communication Branch of the Department of Education, Skills and Employment needs a content publisher to work across both the intranet and internet spaces.The applicant should have experience managing content in Drupal and Sharepoint, understand web and document accessibility, be fluent in basic html and be a good communicator.Part of the role will be to perform quality assurance checks across the intranet and several departmental websites.They’ll also provide advice and guidance for all staff on effective ways of using the intranet and the team’s digital distribution tools.The applicant will contribute to ensuring that the quality of content across our sites – particularly the intranet and dese.gov.au is of a high standard and meets Australian Government requirements.
