Aso6 Senior Content Designer – Temporary Pool

Eligibility: Open to Everyone The Senior Content Designer (ASO6) temporary pool will operatefor a period of up to 12 months. The Senior Content Designer is an expert in online userbehaviour, website best-practice trends and issues, accessibilityand web user experience. The position works to educate and drive aculture of accessibility and continuous improvement, andprioritises the end-user of online content across the Departmentfor Education. The Senior Content Designer performs a high volumeof advanced web publishing across multiple websites and thedepartment’s intranet, contributes to the development ofcontent strategy, policies and procedures, and is responsible formanaging the governance, performance and continuous improvement ofcommunications channels such as the department’s publicwebsite and internal intranet. The role is required to build the capacity of the department todeliver accessible best-practice online services and does so bybuilding strong working relationships with business units andworking collaboratively with subject matter experts andcommunications professionals to write clear content that meets userneeds. Special ConditionsThe successful applicantis required to gain a Department of Human Services (DHS) working with children check(WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to berenewed every five years before expiry. A current DHS child-relatedemployment screening will be recognised as a WWCC until it expires.The incumbent will be required to undertake Responding toAbuse& Neglect (RAN) full day/online training course everythree years.
