Job Description Senior HR ManagerWe are seeking a Senior HR Manager for an immediate start in Albury, NSW. The successful candidate will have demonstrated knowledge and in-depth understandings of modern employment Awards, employment conditions and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. This role is suited to someone who has held a Senior HR Manager position, with strong skills in Industrial Relations and preferably within the government sector.The successful candidate will work closely with senior management and be responsible for, but not limited to the following:•Liaising with Companies that provide workers to the organisation.•Planning workforce requirements with Managers and team leaders. •Approving of time sheets and recording days completed.•Ensuring HR policies and practices are in line and meet legislative requirements, in particular terms and conditions of employment as contained in modern Awards (pay rates, hours of work, entitlements, break times and obligations of all parties involved);•Implementation and development of HR programs, guidelines and procedures;•Providing professional and informative advice to internal and external stakeholders on employment matters;•Overseeing and ensuring adherence to Work, Health and Safety policies and procedures;•Undertaking audits and reviews of programs to ensure compliance;•Overseeing candidate management and talent pooling;•Creation and understanding of employment contracts.The successful candidate will have:•Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or significant demonstrated experience in human resource management (crucial);•Thorough understandings of employment legislation and Awards;•Previous government experience in a similar role (highly desired);•Strong written and verbal communication skills;•Strong ability to multi-task and previous experience working in a fast-pace environment;•The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;•A current, or the ability to obtain a security clearance.
