Human Resource Specialist

Our client is a reputable, global company seeking an experienced Human Resource Specialist to join their Human Resource team. As a member of the HR team, you’ll help create a culture that enables people to produce their best work every day. A solid HR background and good communication skills are pivotal in being successful for this role. Your current skills and experience will be an asset in this role as you interact with a diverse group of management, salaried and hourly employees to answer HR related questions and resolve issues whilst complying with company and legal policies and procedures. Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: End to end recruitmentLeading new employee on boarding programsManaging exit process for departing employeesCollaborating with regional and corporate HRInteracting with and counselling all levels of management, salaried and hourly employees to assist and resolve a wide variety of people, wage and employment related issuesLabour hire managementMaintaining internal systems to ensure data accuracyPartnering with Facility Management, Corporate HR, Service Centres, Compensation + Benefits and Payroll teams to assist in the administration and support of employee issuesTo be successful in the position you will possess the following: Tertiary qualification related to HR or equivalentAt least 5 years HR job-related experience, preferably within a global organisation and/or a blue collar environment environmentKnowledge of various areas of HR including benefits, employment, pay-related practices/process, compensation and company policies and proceduresExceptional communications skills, time management and attention to detailStrong Microsoft office skillsAbility to develop a cooperative work relationship with others inside and outside of departmentThe ability to maintain confidentiality is essentialAbility to work autonomously with support from regional teamAustralian Citizenship and/or Permanent Residency requiredThis is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday (0830-1630) and requires a committed individual with a ‘can-do’ attitude and the aptitude to work autonomously.
