Locally owned company with stable growth, Great team environment, Flexible full time permanent opportunity.Trade Sales Company The Pirtek Group is an international success story specialising in mobile “on site” service and replacement of hydraulic and industrial hoses.  We are experiencing continued growth due to a philosophy based on service excellence and a proactive and planned business approach. We are seeking the appointment of an internal salesperson for our Edinburgh based Service Center. The Role We are looking for someone who is trade based to provide sales support to our clients and staff along side the centre manager of a family owned and run company. This position is for someone the has experience in mechanical trades and looking for long term employment where they can really commit to a role. In this role you will be expected to deliver consistent, accurate, high quality sales and service to our customers. You will need to become a passionate, technically minded and energetic team member with excellent skills in communication. You will be provided with training towards a long term goal of becoming a key permanent member of the team. You will report directly to the Center Manager. This role is based at our new Edinburgh North site, the standard business hours are 7.30-5 Monday to Friday with the possibility of rostered Saturday mornings. General Tasks Clearing emails Answering of calls Creating quotes for hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical components including installation  Conversion of quotes to orders Some counter sales Invoicing Supporting other operations within the branch  Following up of quotes to increase conversion rates  General adhoc duties You  To be considered for this position you must have: Experience in sales trade background  Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills High level computer skills including MS office applications and the ability to quickly pick up new programs (previous MRP or ERP experience would be an advantage) Friendly and professional manner Attention to detail and respect for processes and systems Ability to use your time efficiently and effectively Ability to work under pressure, to prioritise tasks and problem solve to achieve agreed outcomes and meet deadlines Industry knowledge or related fields Our perfect candidate is able to demonstrate excellent longevity working in a sales or industry related role.
