We are currently seeking a passionate & experienced Executive Housekeeper to lead our dedicated Housekeeping Team As this is one of our largest and most successful Resorts on the Sunshine Coast, we are seeking a hands-on leader who isn’t afraid to lead by example. A seasoned Housekeeping professional with extensive experience in a similar role, alongside a passion for empowering, developing and motivating a large team to succeed. We are seeking someone with a strong customer focus and a meticulous eye for detail. A driven problem solver, you will have a creative approach to overcoming sticky situations and will be well versed to plan and coordinate all housekeeping tasks and activities. Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience: Passion for people and the ability to lead a medium to large, diverse team in a busy environment with logistical challenges Strong organisational skills to ensure effective running of the department through planning, directing, controlling and coordinating all tasks and activities Proven track record in maintaining or improving cleanliness across a large area or property Attention to detail across cleanliness, maintenance and general condition Experience in recruiting, training and mentoring team members Understanding of productivity and working within budget constraints Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong computer literacy A sound understanding of Workplace Health & Safety requirements and safe work practices Aside from telling us about your exceptional communication skills, housekeeping management experience, and strong ability to maximise productivity, we would ideally like to hear about your experience managing teams and your approach to keeping a team motivated and engaged.
