Stamford Plaza Adelaide Hotel is superbly situated in the heart of the city on Adelaide’s key cultural boulevard, North Terrace. Only 10 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from Adelaide’s premier beachside suburb, Glenelg.The hotel is conveniently located opposite the Adelaide Convention Centre, Adelaide Casino and Parliament House, and within walking distance to Adelaide Oval, the Festival Centre, River Torrens, Adelaide’s historic parklands, cinemas and boutique shopping.The successful Food and Beverage Attendants will be responsible for the provision of exceptional customer service across multiple outlets including; La Boca and Room Service.Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional food and beverage service to guests Ensure outlets are set prior to meal service including table, banquet & buffet set up and clearanceGreet and serve guests in a prompt mannerUnderstand the menu, offer suggestions and up-sell food and beverage itemsEnsure correct pack down procedures are followedLook after guest enquiries in a professional mannerRe-stock fridges to par levels, store and ensure the outlet is correctly stocked in accordance with outlet stock control guidelines About youWorking within the hospitality environment you will have a bright, energetic attitude and most importantly – love to have fun, in addition to; Passionate about people, food and wineExceptional customer service skillsA real go getter, who can think on their feetStrong attention to detail, communication and interpersonal skillsA high level of personal presentation and groomingFlexibility to work various rostered shifts over a seven day rosterThe ability to obtain a Responsible Person BadgeCurrent Nationally Recognised Responsible Service of Alcohol is essentialDemonstrated experience as a Food and Beverage Attendant in a hotel environment is preferred but not essential Culture and BenefitsAs a team member with us you can expect to receive: The opportunity to work with industry professionals in an exciting Hotel environment;An attractive food and beverage discount program
