We love creating extraordinary events and exceeding expectations.Our team is social, creative and passionate.About the roleWe are seeking the support of an experienced, highly driven event manager to support us on some exciting, high profile public-facing projects over the next 3 months. The position can be full-time or part-time. We’re motivated to find the right person.The successful candidate must have at least three years’ experience with event coordination, a proven track record in time management and be able to demonstrate excellent communications skills,  both verbal and written. Attention to detail is a must.Travel to event locations and client offices will be required as well as the ability and willingness to work out-of-standard hours from time to time.We can offer flexible hours to suit your life commitments.The Role Objectives are:Work with our team to deliver stunning, world-class events ensuring we exceed expectations in all areas.Liaise directly with clients on requirements, updating our project management software as you progress.Liaise with suppliers, stakeholders, councils on requirements, documenting the process and completing required paperwork to a high standard.Manage costs to a budget.Skills required:Strong communication skills within teams, asking the right questions to extract the information required.Meticulous attention to detail, to think outside the box and ensure nothing is left to chance.Excellent written communication skills including use of Powerpoint / Mac Keynote for proposals.Excellent time management with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.Calm under pressure. We work to unrelenting deadlines but we have fun along the way.Contract Terms:Beginning as soon as possible until June. There may be opportunity for a long term position for a suitable candidate.The salary will be based on the candidate’s experience and agreed contract terms.
