The UX developer will work alongside program coordinators, product owners, business analysts and developers to design and develop user flows, user interfaces, product features and front-end design improvements.Skills & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in design, computer science, information technology, or a relevant field preferred.3+ years UX/ UI developer, designer or similar role with a strong focus on modern mobile and web applicationsStart-up experience or at least experience with rapid prototyping, testing, and Iterating of mobile and web applications. Experience working within agile frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver solutions. Strong communication, stakeholder relationship and presentation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsResponsibilitiesWork with our product and program teams to conduct research and deconstruct our users’ digital interactions and habits. Work collaboratively to strategically create new features and functionality based on user stories and user behaviour. Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and mock-ups. Create and maintain digital assets, such as interface design files, wireframes, and interactive mock-ups. Work with our development team to design, build, and maintain highly reusable JavaScript, HTML and CSS code. Prepare and present drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders. Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness).What’s in it for youThis is a fully agile, fast-paced position with meaningful responsibilities and room for growth.
