Its restaurant and bar is popular with locals, and from there, it’s only a walk down the hill to the beach and the buzz of Hastings Street. We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Kitchen Steward to join our team The Kitchen Steward role is crucial to the effective operation of our kitchen! This role will also focus on providing support to our kitchen team, duties may include but are not limited to: Hygienically cleaning crockery, cutlery, glassware and other kitchen equipment using both commercial dishwashers and by hand; Basic food preparation; grating, peeling, chopping, preparing batters, garnishes and seasonings; Rubbish removal; Sweeping and mopping of kitchen floors to ensure ongoing cleanliness & kitchen hygiene.
