your responsibilities will include: Managing a busy reception desk Managing patient admissions Answering and redirecting calls Preparing admission paperwork Perform Health Fund Checks as required Conduct follow up requests and make reminder calls for visits Maintain accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical records Manage the collection of excess/co payments Coordinate with staff from other departments Complete other clerical tasks such as data entry Gold Coast Private is a 314 bed, 21 operating theatre facility offering the highest standard of clinical expertise and nursing care. Selection Criteria: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment Strong attention to detail Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) Works well independently and within a team Flexible to work a variety of shifts is a must – early/late shifts & weekend work WebPas Hospital system experience (Desired)
