The Opportunity

Our Berrimah branch has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Receptionist to join the team in a Part Time capacity. You will be required to work Thursday and Friday (16 hours per week) with the flexibility to cover other weekdays as required.

This role will have you providing end to end administrative support and will be best suited to a personable professional who enjoys being the welcoming face of the Darwin region. Reporting to the Administration Manager, you will:

Receive & direct incoming phone calls and visitors in a polite and courteous manner

Maintain confidentiality and correctly file away correspondence and other documents

Update and maintain databases and in house systems through timely and accurate data entry

Ensure Reception entrance and front of house is neat and tidy at all times

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

Demonstrated experience in a similar office support role (exposure to accounts would be advantageous but is not essential)

A helpful and friendly attitude is essential as you will be based front of house and often be the first point of contact for multiple departments

Advanced computer literacy, advanced knowledge of the Microsoft suite and timely/accurate data entry

The initiative and ability to multi-task and coordinate comprehensive office support efficiently and effectively

The flexibility to work Monday to Wednesday covering the other receptionist on an as needs basis (annual/personal leave, etc)
