Medical Receptionist – Qdi Gold Coast/brisbane South

QDI provides a comprehensive range of imaging services including General X-ray, Dental Imaging, Fluoroscopic Screening, CT, MRI, Digital Subtraction Angiography, Ultrasound, Vascular Ultrasound, Echocardiography, Nuclear Medicine, Bone Densitometry, and Mammography. We strive to be the leading provider of medical imaging services in Australia by empowering and supporting our people to deliver outstanding clinical care that embraces best practice and innovation.We are currently looking for an Enthusiastic Receptionist to work at our well-established QDI practices on the sunny Gold Coast and Brisbane South. this role will be required to be available all week days to cover sick and annual leave as well as weekend shifts across multiple sites. Specific Duties include: Performance of all reception duties including (but not limited to) Making patient exam bookings Patient record data entry Greeting of patients on arrival of appointment General patient customer service care Medicare billing and banking; Assistance with patient flow within the department; Communication with Medical Centre staff in relation to services offered; Work in accordance with all Company policies including OH&S Day to day problem solving You will need to: Must have previous experience in a similar role within Radiology Demonstrate sound accuracy and speed with keyboard skills Be able to competently use standard software packages (IRIS system) Demonstrate outstanding ability to deal with people face to face and over the phone Positive and “Can Do” Attitude Have an excellent phone manner Display a caring and compassionate attitude towards patients Be open and confident, show initiative and be willing to accept responsibility Be a clear oral communicator Prioritize daily tasks Be able to work independently and part of a team Have own transport Medical typing/terminology is an advantage but not essential All applicants with a majority of the above skills and abilities are encouraged to apply and will all be considered.
