We are looking for an experienced and reliable Part Time Cleaner  to join our team based at Australian Defence Force Academy . You will be working in a safe and efficient manner; this position is responsible for the completion of day to day cleaning of specified areas under the direction of the Mess Manager. 

Key Duties

Maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene levels of the facility

Follow company cleaning procedures to high standard ensuring only approved chemicals/cleaning products are used

You will need to be able to take initiative and work unsupervised

Rapid response to urgent cleans and spills

Garbage collection and disposal

Manual handling and lifting of equipment

Distribute toilet / bathroom supplies and / or cleaning materials in buildings

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

Previous commercial cleaning experience

Able to perform practical and physical work and stand for long periods 

Able to work quickly and efficiently

Ability to work within a team environment

Strong attention to detail

Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills

Adherence to site safety policy and procedures

You’re a can-do person who goes above and beyond to get the job done

Knowledge of cleaning safety processes

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Is Reliable and self-motivated
