School Holiday Nanny/babysitter at Shirley (Ashgrove, Brisbane)

Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic and reliable babysitter to be another set of hands to help out with childcare during the upcoming school holiday period. The role would involve looking after three lively boys (7, 5 and 3) and helping out around the house with general tidying, meal prep and laundry. We can be flexible with structuring hours (mum is currently on maternity leave with a four month old baby) so the role would suit anyone looking for a few extra hours or a student on semester break. There is the possibility of ongoing work during the school term for the right person.

The boys love to play, dance, sing, draw, run, play music, ride their bikes and go to playgrounds. They warm to anybody who takes the time to engage and play with them and have developed close relationships with our previous nannies, au pairs and babysitters. We are looking for someone caring, fun, playful, responsible and who genuinely likes the company of children.

We live 5km from Brisbane CBD, in lovely Ashgrove. We have a pool and lots of nearby playgrounds and the local library are all within walking distance. A driver's licence and car would be an advantage but not essential.
