Casual Event Staff Wanted – Work at Fun Events Across SEQ!

🚗 Must live within 15-30 minutes of Annerley, QLD

🚗 Must have a car that can be used to take setups to events. Suitable cars are medium to large size cars, sedans, Utes or 4wd's, or a smaller car & a box trailer. A car the size of a Rav 4 or a sedan is ideal for this type of work.

About the Role
Are you looking for a fun, flexible job where you can work at exciting events, interact with people, and enjoy the outdoors? We are seeking one reliable, enthusiastic person to join our team, working at events across Brisbane, the Gold Coast, and the Sunshine Coast.
This role is perfect if you:

✅ Enjoy working outdoors and engaging with people
✅ Have availability most weekends, plus occasional weekdays
✅ Are physically capable of lifting 20kg eskies in and out of a vehicle
✅ Don’t mind driving up to an hour to event locations (we pay travel time!)

Snowy Joey has been bringing Snow Cones, Fairy Floss, and Popcorn to events since 2007. We’re a leader in our field, offering unique, high-quality event experiences across SEQ. We also sell premium Snow Cone syrups Australia-wide.
We are now hiring for one casual team member to help run events – don’t miss out on this great opportunity!

What We Offer:
🎯 Flexible shifts – work assigned based on your availability
💰 Paid hourly, including travel time
🎪 A fun and social work environment at various events
📅 Regular weekend work + potential weekday shifts

What We’re Looking For:
✔ Weekend availability is a must – most events are on Saturdays & Sundays
✔ Ideally available 1-2 weekdays for additional events
✔ A full driver’s licence (manual preferred)
✔ A suitable car for transporting event setups (medium-large sedan, ute, 4WD, or small car with a box trailer)
✔ If you don’t have a suitable car, you may be able to use the Snowy Joey work vehicle (subject to age, driving history & ability to drive manual)
✔ Physically fit – able to lift 20kg eskies
✔ Comfortable handling cash and giving change
✔ Friendly, reliable, and punctual – strong customer service skills are a must
✔ Able to commit to at least 6-12 months

👉 No prior experience needed – full training provided! However, previous experience with market stalls, physical work, or customer service is a plus.
