Casual Personal Carer - Indooroopilly

About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Carer to provide support to a client in their residential home in Indooroopilly. This casual role offers approximately 5-8 hours per week with flexible scheduling to accommodate your studies.

Schedule:
- Tuesdays: 9.00am to 1.30pm/2pm (4.5 - 5 hours)
- Option of some additional hours each week
- Can accommodate exam schedules
- Rate: $28 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:
- We are seeking a carer to assist our beloved Husband/Dad one morning a week.
- He no longer has his Drivers License and is getting a little more forgetful.
- The role is to help with meal prep (morning tea and lunch), the occasional trip to the local shopping centre and to running a few errands.

The role provides:
- Practical Experience: This role provides experience in a care setting, ideal if you are currently studying, especially related to a caring profession.
- Flexible Hours: We offer some flexible in scheduling to accommodate your studies and exam periods.
- Convenient Location: Located in Indooroopilly High & St Peters, making it easily accessible for students in the area.

What You Will Need:
- Ideally, you may have some background or be studying nursing, medicine, physiotherapy or aged care.
- A valid police check (within the last 6 months).
- A smartphone with internet access.
- A current Australian Driver’s License.
- Your own registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance and willingness to use it for client transportation (although this will be likely just to Indooroopilly shopping centre and back).
