Bar Cum Wait Staff

We are looking for a matured, experienced (at least 1 year) and people-person front of house staff for our Japanese Bar in Manning. Whilst conversational Japanese is ideal, it is not a requirement. But familiarity with Japanese culture and food is a bonus.

Excellent skills in interacting with people is important. Others include punctuality, working as a team and willingness to learn. Living locally is also a bonus.

Your primary responsibilities involve:
1. setting up the dining area to be ready to receive guests,
2. managing reservations
3. welcome diners
4. taking orders
5. organising drinks in the bar
6. serving drinks and food
7. building customer rapport
8. contribute to a happy and vibrant culture

Training is provided and feedback is given regularly.

We have a high retention rate of casul workers, with some converting to full-time when the opportunity arises.
