Job Description
Thousand Lakes Wilderness Lodge is a boutique wilderness lodge, with 9 premium quality rooms, nestled in the alpine landscapes of the Tasmanian Central Highlands. The lodge offers a unique work environment where staff can enjoy a balanced work/life routine, making it an ideal setting for those who appreciate hiking, bushwalking, fishing, walking, and experiencing native flora and fauna. The peacefulness and solitude of the lodge provide a remarkable opportunity for personal growth and tranquility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Hotel housekeeping to high standard
• Maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the lodge's public areas
• Opportunity to also work as needed, assisting with breakfast and dinner service.
Requirements:
• Your own transport – state you have own car in your introduction message
• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping
• Willingness to learn and adapt quickly
• Strong attention to detail and takes pride in work
• Ability to work to standards set and follow instruction
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working and living in a remote location

For the right person, your roster may be able to be worked around your study commitments - be back in Hobart or Launceston for when you need to attend class - head back to the Highlands to work, focus on study and save money. Our last international student studied from Hobart and worked at the Lodge the past four years!
