Job Title: Conductor & String Music Coach

Location: Between Willoughby and St Ives, Sydney, NSW
Kick off 2025 by inspiring the next generation of string players!
Wonderstrings is looking for passionate, skilled Conductors who can play a string instrument and are eager to work with young musicians. Whether you’ve led a school ensemble, coached in community programs, or simply have a love for music and teaching, we want to hear from you!
With training sessions in January, we’ll prepare you to confidently lead rehearsals and inspire students in both group and individual settings.

What You’ll Do:
• Conduct youth ensembles and coach private or small group lessons.
• Play and demonstrate on your string instrument to guide students effectively.

• Motivate and inspire students through engaging, dynamic sessions.
What We’re Looking For:
• Proficiency in playing a string instrument (violin, viola, cello, or double bass).
• Some experience in conducting or leading music groups (school or community experience counts!).
• A passion for working with children and inspiring their musical journey.
• Great communication skills and a positive, encouraging attitude.
